.5 mile walk on campus this week, 2.5 miles at Blue Licks State Park today. so far, I have kept my New Year’s resolution of hiking at least twice per months. 44.4 miles down, 955.6 miles to go
37.7 miles down, 962.3 miles to go. last week was a slow week. with classes 2 nights per week, homework, and a job, i’m having a hard time finding the time and energy to get on the treadmill. i walk about a mile each day at class, but i have got to find a way to do better. plus, the dang ankle has started swelling and hurting again. how are people supposed to exercise, get healthy, and lose weight?
and give me a break already, in the past week and a half, i have had bronchitis, i broke a tooth with a crown on it off at the gum line, had to have it laser burned out, and a new core made, and a new crown put on.
and i had to have a root canal on a totally seperate tooth. sucky timing.
did 5k101 wk 3 today. was supposed to run intervals equaling 15 mins of running time. i had to put an extra 30 sec of walking into each interval, so i only ended up running…..12.5 mins. but, i ran.
now, off to write a PE chapter review, a multi page PE observation paper, a multipage music observation paper, and spend 3 hours give or take running Accelerated Reader stats for my 750 kids on Monday morning.
busy, rainy saturday.
mile and a half hike at Rock Bridge in the Gorge today…beautiful. 30.69 miles down and 969.3 miles to go. pics coming soon.
sorry i am posting so little - basically just my exercise so my fitblr family doesn’t give up on me. between work and 3 night classes, i am overwhelmed.
still not losing weight, but i feel stronger and better. maybe the weight will start coming off as i increase my miles and get further along in c25k. i’m trying to take it slow, and in fact, rather than do w4 of c25k next week, i am going to do w3 of 5k101 because it gives me a week of running 3 min. 5x rather than jumping into 5 min. intervals.
